Michaela started her career as a nursing auxiliary on an acute adult ward and it was then she decided she wanted to pursue a career in nursing.
Whilst studying for her Diploma in Nursing Studies she worked as a part time Community Care Worker providing home care to disabled and elderly people.
When she completed her Diploma in Nursing Studies at Queen’s University of Belfast, in 2000, she joined the South Eastern Trust working in care of the elderly for 16 years.
She joined Movilla House Nursing Home as a Sister in 2016. She has been an integral part of the management team at Movilla House for 5 years. As Sister she ensured a stimulating and caring environment is maintained at all times.
